Membership
The Ottawa New Music Creators boasts over 75 members including local composers, performers, and community members interested in new music. ONMC is the only active organization of its kind in the Ottawa area. Through partnerships with other leading arts organizations and festivals in the city, ONMC supports the activity of local composers and performers and widens the audience for contemporary music.
Do you support the goals of ONMC? Why not become a member? Membership is open to composers and performers, community members, students and youth. By joining ONMC, you become actively involved in the support of new music in the Ottawa area.ONMC has four categories of membership:
- - Active members are composers or performers in the Ottawa area and have full voting privileges.
- - Associate members are musicians or non-musicians in the community who support the work of ONMC; Associate members do not have voting privileges.
- - Students are active members with full voting privileges who are currently enrolled as full time students and who are over the age or majority (18 years)
- - Youth members are student members under the age of majority (18 years) and do not have voting privileges.
